Studio Penthouse
Your Own Rooftop Under the Stars
The plunge pool is yours alone — no schedule, no strangers, no waiting. Mornings up here are quiet: birds moving through the treetops at eye level, open sky, space to stretch before the day starts. By afternoon, guests are arriving back from the cenotes and slipping straight into the water. Evenings shift again — dinner on the terrace, the moon rising over the jungle canopy, stars overhead. Massages at sunset, arranged by Gaby and Luli, right here on the roof.
Inside: a king bed with a mattress guests mention by name in their reviews. A compact kitchen for breakfast and late-night snacks — Aldea Zama’s restaurants are a short walk when you want a real meal. Full bathroom, plus a toilet off the foyer. The elevator reaches the top-floor corridor; your front door is steps away, with a short staircase up to the private roof. Book the studio alone and the top floor is yours — the rest of the penthouse stays locked off.
This is the top floor of Imagine Tulum Penthouse, above the treetops and the street noise. Aldea Zama’s yoga studios, spas, and open-air restaurants are five to ten minutes on foot. The shared infinity pool is one wing over when the afternoon calls for a longer swim.
Traveling with others? This studio books as part of the full 3-bedroom penthouse — three private suites, two pools, space for six.
The Beds
Every suite has a premium king mattress chosen by the owner, a physical therapist. Firm support, the right amount of padding. Guests mention the sleep in their reviews.
Your Hosts
Gaby & Luli
Superhosts since 2018 and among the most trusted hosts in Tulum. They arrange airport transfers, bicycle rentals, cenote tours, dinner reservations, private chef bookings, and rooftop massages on request. For groups larger than six, they can also look into additional units in the building. Guests ask for them by name when they return.

“I felt like we had a team of people helping to ensure a phenomenal vacation and the place was a dream. Couldn't recommend it enough.”
“Thanks to the team who made our stay so brilliant! We loved chilling on the rooftop during the sunny hours. Our lovely host arranged transportation to the Gran Cenote and back for us and the communication was flawless. 10/10 recommend and would love to visit again!”
“The private plunge pool on the roof was our favorite feature — secluded from the rest of the building so we had our own privacy to enjoy it as we saw fit. The bed was super comfy and we had all the amenities we needed. Our host was amazing, gave us plenty of local recommendations and checked in with us often. If we come back to Tulum we would stay here again for sure!”
“The peace of the pool area while the wind blew and the leaves rustled! We saw a couple of parrots fly by, the evening sunsets, morning coffee overlooking the jungle — absolutely amazing. The suite was clean and very comfortable. Perfect for a couple. We were sad to leave. We will return!”
“Stunning apartment, perfect for couples. We would head out for the day on our hired moped and get back in time to enjoy the last of the afternoon sun by the private pool. Bliss! We could hear nothing but the beautiful sounds of the birds, with green parrots flying by regularly. Gabby and the team were fantastic and responsive throughout. Top notch.”
“Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. They were always available to answer any questions, offer fantastic local recommendations, and made sure every detail of our trip was smooth and stress-free. It truly felt like staying with a friend who wanted us to experience the best of Tulum.”
